Ingredients

8 portions
  • 2 kilos ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 kilo onion, finely chopped
  • 500 grams red pepper, chopped
  • 500 grams yellow bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 jalapeño chiles, chopped
  • 7 tablespoons hot chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons chipotle chile, Canned
  • 2 canned tomato, chopped
  • 2 cans Bay bean, large cans
  • 1 bottle dark beer
  • sour cream
  • american cheeses
  • chives, chopped

Preparation

In a large pot, cook the ground meat until lightly cooked, about 8 minutes.
Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat and brown the onion, peppers and jalapeños. Cook for 10 minutes.
Add the onion mixture to the meat pot and mix.
Add all the spices and chiles and mix, cook over medium heat.
Add the tomatoes, beans and beer and cook until it boils. Reduce to a low heat and continue cooking for 20 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper and serve.

PRESENTATION

Serve the chili with sour cream, yellow cheese and chopped chives.
